About the event
This is a WA INTERPRETERS in-person union event. The election for L&I interpreters is almost here, and we're excited to interact with you. We will have an honest discussion about the future of our industry.
Discussion Topics:
-What the election means for you as an interpreter, and what is at stake for all of us.
-Our plans to improve working conditions for L&I interpreters, including a dual system with more options to access appointments, payment for no shows, cancellations, mileage reimbursement, block appointments, timely payments, and much more.
- We want you to share your ideas, suggestions, questions and concerns with us, and learn how to get involved in our movement.
-We will also be raffling a $190.00 dollar gift card at the end of the meeting for you to purchase continuing education classes of your choice, from the ARCOS INSTITUTE.
